Your contributions make a difference in the life of an at-risk childASAP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Our programming relies upon individual charitable contributions and grants from foundations, corporations and governmental entities.  ASAP program participants are asked to pay a $5 enrollment fee to demonstrate their commitment to the program, its values and expectations, but all other participation costs are paid by the organization.

ASAP strives to maintain low overhead.  Core programming is administered by part-time staff, and approved instructors receive a modest honorarium for their services.  Contributions are directed toward supplies, space, transportation and direct delivery of services to participating children.

ASAP serves about 50 children per session, many of them supported by the generosity of individual sponsors.  All donations to ASAP are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

" ASAP has been a tremendous lift for our students who are involved—to the point that it has created a waiting list of students who want to participate. It gives students the opportunity to create, to be artists, to be musicians, … and has added to their self-esteem, [creating] a new sense of awareness in their abilities to do something positive. "
