Students meet on site, have a healthy snack, participate in an opening activity to transition from the school day, then the group breaks into thematic studios which meet independently in a classroom setting, with each student having access to the instructor and a number of dedicated volunteers. All materials are provided and space is appropriate for the work. Past StudiosASAP's studio schedule varies each session based upon the availability of instructors and the overall balance of course offerings. Students rank their preference for studios when they enroll, and are assigned to a studio for the entire session. Examples of past studios include:

" While our children have access to sports and recreation programs, ASAP is the only fine arts program in this neighborhood and we are so thankful for this presence. In partnering with ASAP for two years, we are continually impressed with the good planning, the tight collaboration and the integrity of the art faculty. As grant administrator, I feel this program brings a lot of value for the cost. "
