About ASAP: Teaching Artists

Teaching Artists PDF Print E-mail

ASAP's Teaching Artists are individuals with professional or extensive experience in their chosen medium who provide quality instruction for ASAP students.  They come from a variety of backgrounds and represent the gamut of art forms — 2D and 3D visual, theatrical, musical, literary, and more.  They care about and relate to the program participants and serve as both teachers and mentors for the kids.

Artists - Get Involved!

ASAP's programming depends upon the involvement of local artists!  If you'd be interested in leading a studio, contact us.

" While our children have access to sports and recreation programs, ASAP is the only fine arts program in this neighborhood and we are so thankful for this presence. In partnering with ASAP for two years, we are continually impressed with the good planning, the tight collaboration and the integrity of the art faculty. As grant administrator, I feel this program brings a lot of value for the cost. "
